Delivering extensions to Microsoft Edge and other features by Windows 10 Insider Preview Redstone Build 14291

It is a busy Thursday for Microsoft. Since the long awaited roll out of the Windows 10 is around the corner, the software giant surprised people with the launch of the new PC build for Insiders on the Fast ring. Now these so called Fast ring updates sometimes provide new features and other times it tweaks to the bug as well as the core fixes.

No doubt, the Windows 10 Insider Build 14291 is one of the best and noteworthy updates, which is finally getting delivered after the long awaited extensions of the Microsoft Edge. Plus it even involves the Edge enhancements and pinned tabs. Also there is the updated Maps app and other exotic changes such as the introduction of the brand new Feedback Hub.

Of course, the extension support is the biggie and this simply provides Microsoft Edge the chance to be in competition with the likes of Chrome and Firefox.  For trying out the extension, you must click on the ellipses button given in the top right and then you need to click the Extensions option. And in the Extension pane, you must click the Get extensions.

Now this is the best and great feature and there are not many kinds of add-ons which are available right at this particular moment, however, you must try the Mouse Gestures, earlier version of the Reddit Enhancement Suite and Microsoft Translator ( which can automatically translate pages into fifty different languages).

No need to worry, as there are more extension on the way and those includes the Adblock Plus, Adblock, LastPass, Amazon, and Evernote. Now these extensions will be currently downloaded and side-loaded, still they need to be made available from the Windows Store. Another interesting aspect is that the Edge even allows one to pin the tabs so that you can have easy access to the favorite and the regular sites.
