The latest version of Windows 10, Microsoft released last fall, is a small service pack. Even so, it was gradually spreading and should now be available to all interested parties through Windows Update.
November 2019 Update, as the update is called, has been available for several months, but is still spreading gradually. However, Microsoft has now released it for everyone who manually checks for updates through Windows Update. For earlier upgrades, you no longer need to download the update utility. At the same time, the company will begin automatic distribution to users of version 1809, October 2018 Update.
You won’t find any big news in the autumn update, it is a minor version mostly with bug fixes and minor improvements in the interface. For the first time, Microsoft also took advantage of the fact that all features are already in the system under the May 2019 Update and the autumn update only activates them.
In addition, we have a spring update, which should be released in April. Microsoft has almost completed its Windows Insider testing and is slowly moving to this autumn.
I’ve tried to update this latest version. Twice it has said that it was updated and twice that disappeared from my update list and it tries to update every chance it gets without success. So just tell me how to stop it from trying to update a version that will not update for some reason.
