In preparation for its huge release happening on 2nd August, Microsoft is continuing to update as well as bring a lot of changes to the Windows 10 Preview Build 14393. As per an inside source, the latest cumulative update is KB3176927 and this is present in both the mobile and PC version.
Plus this update even bumps the Fast ring build to about 14393.5. And no doubt this patch removes and corrects few of the issues and even the notable ones. As per the announcement given in the Feedback Hub by the company representative, some of the notable issues have been fixed.
One of the major changes done is the improvement in the performance and reliability of the performance of the Microsoft Edge along with the LastPass extensions and enabling AdBlock. Now these extensions will go on to work even after installing various other extensions and updates from the built-in store.
Another issue that got fixed is the battery. Most of the time, the battery used to get drained because of the runway CPU process, especially when the device is in idle mode. Additionally, even the battery issue with regard to its working life has been corrected. This often occurred because of the proximity sensor running on certain devices.
The issue with regard to the Store apps not getting launched because of the licensing issue has been rectified. Also, the issue that often occurs because of the Windows Update getting delayed with the Connected Standby has been corrected. The problem users had with the Korean IME has also been corrected. Previously, the Korean IME sometimes never had the proper or the correct composition for some of the TSF3 edit controls related to the PC.
Furthermore, the issue where the user cannot type the text in the Search bar or any of the Store apps (on certain occasions) has been corrected. Most of the time, users would have to restart the process to rectify this error.
